Dressing up the End of Summer

The start of August brings with it thoughts of summer’s end; we’re reminded of all those things we thought we could fit into these short months and most of us begin to think …where did the time go? Another thing that this time of year brings is an onslaught of weddings, end of summer cocktails, labour day celebrations and goodbye parties as students head back to their University towns. While all these events definitely bring the summer to a fun and exciting end, it’s also around this time that we remember how much money (or lack thereof) we have in our bank accounts, after all the weekend trips and terrace dwelling that the summer has teased us with.

We all know that summer sales are abundant this time of year, but the stores are often filled with odd sizes, styles and colours that may not always work. That’s why finding a dress for these end of summer events can often be a gruelling process, considering funds and stock are at an all-time low.

If you’re in this position, I’ve scoured the internet for some great finds, all under $100, and each perfect for any soirée you have coming up.
